Terms of Service

By using compare⁄io you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. The service is operated by Gazi Mostofa Zaman, an individual sole operator based in Bangladesh.

compare⁄io generates AI-assisted comparisons between items you choose. Accounts are optional; signing in lets you save comparisons and raises your usage limits.

Comparisons are generated by an AI model and are provided for general information only. They may contain errors, outdated pricing, or incorrect specifications. They are not professional, financial, legal, medical or purchasing advice. Verify against official sources before making any decision. You use comparison output at your own risk.

We are not affiliated with, and do not endorse, the products, brands or services that appear in comparisons unless explicitly stated. Trademarks belong to their respective owners.

You agree not to:

• Circumvent usage limits, rate limits or authentication.
• Access the API by automated means outside the provided interface.
• Submit unlawful, infringing, hateful or deliberately misleading content.
• Submit other people's personal data.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload or reverse engineer the service.
• Resell or redistribute generated output as your own comparison product.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations, without notice where necessary.

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

Free accounts and guests receive a limited number of generated searches per day, currently five, which resets at midnight UTC. Free accounts may compare up to three items at once. Limits are enforced on our servers and may change as capacity requires.

Pro. Pro costs US$5 per month. It removes the daily generation limit and raises the number of items you can compare at once to six. Prices are in US dollars; any sales tax or VAT is calculated and shown at checkout.

Who you are paying. Payments are processed by Gumroad, which acts as the merchant of record and is the seller for the transaction. Gumroad's terms and privacy policy apply to the payment itself, and your card details are handled by Gumroad — we never receive or store them.

Renewal and cancellation. Pro is a monthly subscription and renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time using the manage-subscription link in the receipt Gumroad emails you. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for, and we do not pro-rate part months.

Refunds. If Pro is not what you expected, email contact@compareio.website within 14 days of a charge and we will refund it in full. This is in addition to any statutory cancellation or refund rights you have under consumer law, which nothing here limits.

Price changes. We will give at least 30 days' notice by email before changing the price of an existing subscription, and you may cancel before the new price takes effect.

If a payment fails. A subscription whose payment fails or is refunded, charged back or disputed returns to the free plan. Your account and your saved comparisons are not deleted.

You retain ownership of what you submit. You grant us the licence needed to process it, generate comparisons, and host result pages. Comparison pages are publicly accessible to anyone with the link and may be indexed by search engines.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, and may modify or discontinue features at any time.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or purchasing decisions made in reliance on comparison output.

Our total aggregate liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or BDT 50. Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, so they may not apply to you.

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and disputes will be resolved in the courts of Dhaka.

We may update these terms; the "last updated" date will change. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the revised terms.
