These are Opensignal's December 2025 Italy figures, covering September to November 2025. WindTre led both measures of how far its 5G reaches, and in Opensignal's first-quarter 2026 results TIM led for consistent quality. Vodafone Italy and Fastweb became one company on 1 January 2026.

What to check for your own use
- Price. With the networks this close, a cheaper brand or Iliad's plans often make more sense than paying for the fastest.
- Calling Bangladesh. Some plans include international minutes; calling apps over data avoid the charge altogether.
- Signal at home and work, especially in older buildings with thick walls.
- Registration. A SIM needs your ID and codice fiscale.
